Design Features: Stainless steel lined knife gate valves are designed for on-off and isolation of corrosive, abrasive and viscous liquids; abrasive slurries, pulp stock, and dry materials. KGL valves feature stainless steel wetted parts, raised face seat for positive sealing, welded-in gate guides and jams, and high flow capacity. Conforms to TAPPI Standard TIS 405-8. Seat options include metal and resilient seated, plus a v-orifice design for throttling control.
Size Range: 30 - 72" (750 - 1800 mm)
Temperature Range: to 1000°F (540°C)
Pressure Rating: 30 & 36" 100 psi (690 kPa), 42" & larger 25, 50 and 150 psi (173, 345 and 1030 kPa)
